"Our communities and resource offerings need to be inclusive."

It’s About Time we include people with metastatic cancer in our support networks for everyday living. People with metastatic breast cancer are living. We can’t write them off. We need to make sure they have the complete support resources they need for living everyday to the fullest, for the good days and the bad days.

Just because someone doesn’t have the energy to participate in things all the time doesn’t mean we ignore their needs. Social and emotional support, family support, occupational and financial support, physical activity and exercise support, and symptom support. Our communities and resource offerings need to be inclusive, and include resources for people of all ages living with metastatic disease.

We provide a free FIERCE: Functional & Fit, Independent, Energized, Restored, Confident & Empowered (R) class for physical activity in Fort Collins, Colorado, a group that welcomes people with metastatic cancer to enjoy movement and go at their own pace with social support.
