I had stage IIB IDC in 2012, ER+/PR+, HER2neu not amplified. I started coughing in December 2017, but had just moved to North Dakota and thought (hoped) it was just the extreme cold and dryness. However, after moving back to Ohio in March 2018, I was still coughing. After several different visits, I had a chest x-ray ready, which showed tumors in the right lung. Chest CT and PET scans confirmed. Biopsy in early October showed it was the same cancer as in 2012. Still need further test, for HER2, and brain MRI.
I've been dealing with fatigue since my treatment in 2012, and am lately having issues with brain fog. I can sleep 10 hours a night, and take naps.

I would like more people to know that breast cancer is much more than surgery, reconstruction and done.
I would like to be able to share my story, and hopefully encourage others to be more proactive about their health, and not so scared about this. I actually found my lump way back in 1994, but it was just an impacted milk duct. It started to change about ten years later, but I was so used to having a lump that I didn't pay attention, and nothing showed up on mammograms.
