"My future is up in the air."

I was first diagnosed with BC in 2014. I had four rounds of chemo and 17 radiations. My 27/29 remained elevated but was declared no longer needing treatment other than Femara daily.

In December 2016, I fell on ice. After uncontrolled pain for a month, I was sent for x-rays and a CT. They found Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in both hips. The new Oncologist started me on Ibrance, Zometa and Faslodex. The Femara was disconnected. After six months, a PET scan revealed no improvement. In fact, I now have a spot on my liver and spine. I’m waiting for acceptance into a clinical trial with Exemestane and Entinostat. My future is up in the air.
